Conclusion

• Advances in technology and changing standards have led to the need for rapid data-driven curriculum development and deployment. The technology described in this presentation is designed to meet that need and provide the kinds of information needed to support locally designed instructional effectiveness and instructional efficiency initiatives.

• Dialogic curriculum development has the capability to produce large numbers of curriculum units and books in an extremely short period of time. A moderately large district with dialogic curriculum tools in place might easily produce more than 50,000 books in a single year.

• In addition, because the dialogic approach links assessment to instruction, it offers a way to continually modify curriculum and to inform professional development in ways that can enhance student learning.

• The volume and speed of curriculum production combined with new approaches to measurement achieved through dialogic technology supports the goal that every student will receive the instruction they need to achieve their potential.
